Cabinet Replacement & Refinishing
New cabinets, or a new finish on the cabinets you have, planned at your home and priced in writing.
Cabinet replacement & refinishing changes how a kitchen looks and works more than any other single project. We replace worn cabinets with custom or semi-custom boxes, or refinish solid cabinets in place.
Start with the boxes
Cabinet Replacement & Refinishing, Decided by Your Cabinets
The right choice depends on what is already hanging on your walls. Solid boxes in a layout that works are candidates for refinishing. Damaged boxes or a layout that fights you call for replacement.
At the free visit, we open every door and drawer. We check the box frames, the drawer slides, the water damage under the sink, and how the layout handles a normal cooking night.
Then the choice is yours, with both prices in front of you. Cabinet replacement & refinishing are quoted from the same visit, in writing, so the comparison is honest.

Built around your kitchen
What Cabinet Replacement & Refinishing Covers
Four parts make up the work. Each one is chosen at your table, with samples in your own light. The visit covers all four before any price is set.
Full Replacement
Worn or damaged boxes come out. New custom or semi-custom cabinets go in, sized to your walls instead of to a warehouse shelf.
Refinishing in Place
Solid boxes stay where they hang. Doors and drawer fronts are refinished or replaced, and the frames are finished to match.
Door Styles and Color
Shaker, raised-panel, and flat-front doors in paint-grade colors or natural wood. The style is picked against your floors and counters.
Hardware and Motion
Soft-close hinges and drawer slides, plus handles and pulls that fit the door style. Small parts, felt every single day.
When boxes come out
Inside a Full Cabinet Replacement
Replacement starts with exact measurements of your walls, ceiling height, and appliance openings. Cabinets are ordered or built to those numbers, not trimmed to fit on site.
Old boxes come out in sequence, with the counters and nearby appliances protected. New boxes are set level and plumb. The countertop template is only as good as the cabinets under it.
Doors, drawers, and hardware are fitted last, then adjusted until every reveal line is even. That final adjustment is where a kitchen starts to look finished.

One project or two
On Their Own, or Inside a Full Remodel
Cabinet replacement & refinishing can stand alone as the whole project, or run inside a full kitchen remodel with counters, flooring, and tile.
Standing alone, it is the shortest path to a kitchen that feels new. Inside a full remodel, the cabinet work runs first. Counters and backsplash then land on finished boxes.
Either way, one team handles the whole scope. The written price covers the path you choose before work begins.

Cabinet Replacement & Refinishing Questions
How do I know if my cabinets can be refinished?
If the box frames are solid and the layout works, refinishing is usually the right call. Soft or water-damaged boxes, or a layout you want changed, point to replacement. The free visit settles it with both prices in writing.
Does refinishing cost less than replacing?
Yes, in most kitchens. Refinishing keeps the boxes you already own. The price covers doors, fronts, finish, and hardware instead of all new cabinetry. Estimates start as low as $8,500, depending on what your project needs.
What door styles and colors can I choose?
Shaker, raised-panel, and flat-front doors cover most Denton County kitchens. Paint-grade colors and natural wood finishes are both available. Samples are reviewed at your table, in your light, before the price is set.
Will refinished cabinets hold up?
Prep decides that. Doors and frames are cleaned, sanded, and finished with cabinet-grade coatings made for kitchen heat and moisture. A rushed finish fails early. A prepared one holds up to daily use.
Can cabinets be done without remodeling the whole kitchen?
Yes. Cabinet replacement & refinishing works on its own. It also runs as the first phase of a full remodel. The visit covers both paths, and the written price matches the one you choose.
